Stourbridge Running Club had a good turn-out at the local Suicide 6 on Sunday. Held in Baggeridge Country Park, runners took on a 6 mile, multi-terrain course that included stream crossings, tough hills and the infamous Jacob's Ladder. Steve Burch was first back for Stourbridge in 48.00, followed by Rob Woodward in 48.17, Neal Woolhouse in 49.32, Bob Hopkins in 53.35, Paul Bradley and Helen Evans finished together in 57.08, Jon Taylor in 57.21 and Norman Smith in 1.09.25.

At the Gloucester 10k, Mark Lawton finished in 47.43.
Stourbridge Running Club members spent another Saturday afternoon partaking in the joys of Cross Country.

At Coundon Park in Coventry, the Ladies took part in Midland Women's League Division 2 and were represented by team Captain Grace Allen finishing in 29.58, followed by Phoebe Packham in 30.10, Lara Pentreath in 30.47, Dawn Nagle in 32.14, Joan Clarke in 34.10 and Natalie Dellar in 39.42.

At Plock Court in Gloucester, the men's team raced in the Birmingham Cross Country League Division 3 and also had six runners out. First back for Stourbridge was Shaun Osborne in 35.07, followed by Pete Walters in 37.15, Rob Colman in 38.29, Rob Taylor in 38.36, James Bellamy in 41.14 and Rob Woodward in 41.32.

Stourbridge Running Club took part in the Midlands Cross Country Championships at Aldersley Stadium. Each runner taking on a 6k course, with men in teams of 4 and ladies in teams of 3Bob Hop. Steve Burch finished in 28.20, Pete Walters in 25.22, Rob Colman 26.10, Adam Crompton in 26.44, Rob Woodward 27.59, James Bellamy 26.59, Paul Bradley 33.12, Bob Hopkins 30.24, Grace Allen 27.43, Lara Penbreath 28.56, Phoebe Packham 28.37, Andrea Evans 35.14, Helen Evans 33.55, Joan Clarke 31.50, Natalie Dellar 36.96 & Helen Bellamy 33.12.

Stourbridge Running Club had just two runners out this weekend, both taking on the Snowdonia Marathon. Shaun Osborne finished in 3.10.30 and Tim Lloydlangston achieved a massive course PB in 4.35.00.
Stourbridge Running Club had a good turn-out for the Birmingham Marathon and Half Marathon. The Marathon returned to Birmingham for the first time in 30 years and Stourbridge Runners were out in force to celebrate.
