Stourbridge Running Club had two runners at the world's largest half Marathon, the Great North Run. Lucy Hingley completed the 13.1 mile course in 1.58.44 and Martin Clarke finished in 2.38.14. Stourbridge had a better turnout at the Lake Vrynwy half Marathon. Chloe Pearson was first back in 1.32.12, followed by Steve Burch in 1.35.21, Jayne Gardner in 1.45.30, Helen Evans in 1.53.47, Phil Dunn in 1.55.19, Lynda Dunn in 1.59.08, Chris Massey in 2.26.15 and Alison Kent in 2.28.58.
