Race The Train™ 2017

Date: Saturday 19th August 2017

Location: Tywyn Mid-Wales

SRC committee have decided to announce this year we will be doing Race the train as our club race get away, previous years we have often done other races which has been great weekend away involving running & socialising, everyone welcome and get signed up! This unique event is a must for all multi - terrain runners. Many competitors return regularly to try and better their performance or just beat that train while others have run nearly every year since the races started. Most serious runners have heard about it either from their friends, TV, or the press so if you haven’t already competed perhaps this year is the time to attempt it. These events also give you the additional challenge of not only racing your fellow competitor’s but also the Train. Having been televised world-wide on several occasions we have attracted many runners from abroad coming from as far away as New Zealand, Australia, America, Hong Kong, Africa etc.

Rotary Challenge (14 miles) 2:05pm - £29.00 Quarry Challenge (10k) 11:15am - £21.00 Dolgoch Challenge (5.5 miles) 11:15am - £14.00 Tynllwynhen Challenge (3.5 miles) 11:15am - £12.00
